Our first stop was Albany to see my sister Anna, niece Sera and nephews Zach and Josh. Anna’s apartment can be identified by the beautiful potted plants on the entrance steps. Her place is lovely, exposed brick, high ceilings, walls decorated with family artwork, and, of course a fabulous kitchen. It was great to see them all.  Anna, as usual, provided a wonderful meal on Monday – chicken salad, potato salad, wonderful cheeses with crusty bread, and ginger and raspberry cider.

We stayed at the very scenic “Arrowhead Marina and RV park” located near Schenectady alongside the Mohawk River.  Many of the guests there spend the entire season and come back year after year.  There is a great bike trail nearby that runs along the river.   Lisa and I took a number of rides.

On Tuesday, Anna and Josh visited us at the campground.

We gave them the in-depth tour of the RV – that took about 10 seconds and then cooked some salmon and veggies on the grill.

It’s Wednesday, and we’re headed for Rochester.
